Inn On The Coast is often praised for its spacious and clean rooms, with some even featuring coastal views. Many appreciate the hotel's dog-friendly policy, especially the ground-floor rooms equipped with dog bowls and treats. The location is convenient, near bus stops and within walking distance of the West Strand. While some guests have found the decor in certain rooms to be a bit dated, the breakfast, particularly the Ulster Fry, and the internal restaurant are generally well-received, offering good value for money.

a stay needing improvement

dated decorbroken thermostat
I was annoyed with the room. it had dated decor. plaster was falling off the wall behind the curtains and mould was on the bath silicone. I really hate that. also, the heat in the room was too much, even after i turned the radiator off. the thermostat didn't work. I just couldn't get comfortable.

good facilitiespoor quantityangry staff
The room was spacious and had good facilities. That was appreciated.
The food in the bistro really disappointed me. It took 30 minutes to arrive. when i questioned the quality and quantity, the staff became angry. because i had to return the meal, i needed to order something else. It cost more money. the owner never contacted me to apologise as promised.
